Help: What Do You Give A Man For Valentine’s Day?

January 29, 2014 · In: ROMANCE, Uncategorized

IMG_2908Please HELP! A very good friend of mine has a special Valentines Day coming up with her man and she is looking for some gift suggestions.

Some of my past gifts for Chris have been…

  • Clothes
  • hand carved wooden business card holder
  • monogram embossed business card holder

Hold on, I just took a nap from how boring that list of gifts was. Sorry. OK.

Wow, we’ve only been together a short time and honestly we’re not really into gift giving. It must not be one of our “love languages” (have you read The 5 Love Languages?). I do know that gifts are EXTREMELY important to other people however and I am better at getting gifts for those people.

Here are a couple of my ideas for dudes:

  • tickets-to a game, concert, event
  • an elaborate prank
  • a massage from you
  • ooooo, a flourless chocolate cake

Please share your secrets! Thank you in advance!

P.S. We are still in the Caribbean and we’ll be back this weekend!

I’m like you! Funny-I think the shuffle was also the best gift I got him. Pajamas are a fantastic idea! Thank you!

OMG YOU are the best girlfriend!!!!!! That is brilliant! Seriously, Comic Con tickets would propel you to ultra-girlfriend status. I’ve gone once and had SOOOO much fun! San Diego just transforms!

I get my husband a massage from a spa every year (he is in construction and this time of year he needs a proper massage to loosen up his muscles) and food is always a hit with men! Meats/cheese, gourmet popcorn, candy, baked goods, a cookie cake, chocolate covered fruit. Stuff for the grill, golf stuff, accessories his car or whatever hobbies he has. When in doubt lingerie is never a bad gift for your guy.

LOVE the shades idea! An office delivery is so cool. Us girls get flowers but when do guys get deliveries? So clever! Thank you!

One day, I decided to stop letting my circumstances determine the outcomes that I wanted.

Here he was mother to four, barely sleeping at night, feeling Uncomfortable in my body and sluggish.

Dare I say it but I felt old too.

Then I just decided that, even though I was in this stage of life, I was still going to achieve my goals and have a body that I wanted.

I changed who I was on the inside.

I started telling myself that I was vibrant and beautiful and full of energy and life.

All the sudden I started to believe it.

I ate healthier automatically.

I lost over 20 pounds.
