Cyber Monday

November 25, 2018 · In: Shop, Uncategorized

Hi, Friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! We celebrated with family at our home and it was awesome. I have been starting to get some gifts checked off and I’m excited to buy some great home items I’ve been waiting to go on sale today!

I often get sale FOMO because I am such a purchasing planner and if I haven’t been thinking about something for months, when sales come around I have no idea what to buy. Ha!

So this year, I’m ready! Here are some things I’m going to be shopping for this weekend and some favorite, value items I have that I highly recommend. I will be sharing more on IG stories as well!

Black Friday/Cyber Monday is a time for me to get some expensive items at a discount. I am very selective when I purchase ANYTHING. Like to a debilitating fault sometimes but I’m going to share with you my top sale value brands and items.

Some of these links are affiliate links which means I receive a commission from your purchases. I appreciate your support! Thank you!

Kitchen Dining Light

One of the most popular items and most asked about is our kitchen dining light fixture. It is has beautiful proportions and the quality is awesome for the price! We have the rubbed bronze wihich looks black but does have bronze showing through on the edges and corners.

Some friends have spray painted it for a full matte black look but I love it how it is! It looks just like the picture here. You can’t beat this price for a designer look.

Cabinet Hardware

If you are going through a remodel this is a great time to stock up on your hardware. Here are our favorites. I got most of ours on Cyber Monday too!

Serena & Lily

A high end, gorgeous design house with timeless pieces.

Our light dining room light fixture is a showstopper in our home. We have it on a dimmer and it is so dreamy. It has such a huge impact on that space. We have the small size and purchased it when they had a sale (but this sale is even better).

Our master bedroom is decked out in layers and layers of gorgeous Serena & Lily bedding. My top pic would be this white linen quilt I have not seen one like it anywhere. It’s luxurious alone in the summer or layered in the winter.

As for functional decor, this step stool is so unique and useful! It works great in the kitchen or bathroom, adding warmth and character.

The best value and most versatile decor items are their iconic dip dyed stools! These also move around the house and are used for displaying seasonal decor, drink holders, by the tub or just pretty accents.

McGee & Co.

Shea and her team have unmatched style! They purvee the most beautiful goods that blend with any decor. Their holiday decor is so on point as well! I just got the olive wreath front door mat and LOVE IT! Here are my picks:

Pottery Barn

I bought so many of our house fixtures from here. Bathroom mirror and lights etc. The powder room has the vintage rounded edge mirror and the sharp cornered ones are in our Master.

I’ve loved the light fixtures here as well.  We have these:

Our Bed! It is timeless. We have had it for over 5 years.

Our new sofa. We LOVE it so much! slip covers make it easy to wash and it is so supportive and comfortable!

I’m going to be checking out the linen curtains. I have bought the Cameron Cotton ones for multiple homes we’ve lived in. I’ve been very happy with the quality and the price is great.

Kitchen Dishes

We use these every day and I am so happy with them! So nice to have a matching set. Great quality and price!

Pillows!!

The Ivory Gull: Her prices, quality and selections are so good! She is a sweetheart!

Susan Conner New York-This small maker has the most beautiful and exotic textiles! I am praying she has a sale because her handmade items are pricey but SO unique and worth it!

Greige Design/ Greige Textiles: love their pillows! Many other unique and beautiful home items.

Target

Here are some holiday items and home items that I hope will be on sale!

Wayfair

Nordstrom

They have some great sales! Remember, they price match. I see my black diff aviators are sold out on the DIFF sight but still in stock here. SO cool and love them. I don’ think my Chloe bag is on sale but I added it for those who have been asking. The strip top is a perfect shirt.

Anthropologie

I’ve always admired that primrose mirror and this sale is so good!

Amazon Favorites

Clothing

Athleta

I have a pair of these and LOVE them. I’m wearing them as I type. I wear them to exercise, the park, drop off or the cafe. You can roll up the cuff to the length you need.

J. Crew

The classics!

Free People Shoes

These are THE SHOES! They go with everything. I have them in Taupe. They are true to size and will stretch once you get them for a great fit. This site has the best price.

Small Shops

Chalk Full of Design: Handcrafted Chalkboards for littles

Tubby Todd Natural body care product for kids (best bubble bath and all over ointment)

Cuddle and Kind  Heirloom quality dolls. dolls= meals for kids. right now each doll = 20 meals!

How many times was I going to send this listing to How many times was I going to send this listing to my friend and my husband, asking if it’s worth a 45 minute drive to go pick this up?

If I waited any longer, it was going to be gone.

But what if that was a sign that it wasn’t for me?

where was my sign from the universe?

I just knew this was going to give our family room the cozy vibe I wanted.

Everything else in the room was new so it needed something to feel warmer, unexpected, collected and personal.

I kept holding the phone up to the couch trying to picture it.

It belonged here.

She was asking $100 and I asked if $80 would be ok. It was deal and we were off on a long trip, deep into the city.

Was this going straight to Goodwill?

She put the cutest note on top and her roommate helped up load it into our truck.

I dumped a bunch of water on it and gave it a good scrub plus some scraping off of candle wax. No problem!

Truly, what’s meant for you will never pass you by.

When you search and shop with that vibe, all the right stuff will arrive in your feed and you’ll get the perfect piece.

No kidding, within a day of DECIDING my coffee table was going to be on Marketplace, it showed up.

If you’re into the power of your vibes creating your whole world, follow @christinajwarren where we cultivate inner peace to create a beautiful life from the inside out.
I lived with a front door that hurt my eyes to loo I lived with a front door that hurt my eyes to look at, but here’s why that was the best decision.

First of all that kind of glass was giving privacy but really missing out on the beautiful front yard view.

It was also not letting in as much light that it could, which is important for that side of the house because that’s on the sunset side.

It was a little bit warped from being wood and getting a lot of sun over the years.

First I had to figure out what the whole aesthetic of the exterior was going to be. I had a vision of a French country home.

That got me going with colors and then this grid door felt fresh country and was paintable

Even though I wanted to change that door so so badly for so many years, I painted it to have it blended in with our home war but I’m really so glad I waited because now we have the perfect door for the house

If there’s something that you don’t like about your home, it’s OK to wait because the right designs some times comes together over over time.

The trick is having an inner peace and knowing that the perfect solution is out there and will come to you at the perfect time when you’re ready to give it the attention it needs.

It’s like Michelangelo and the David. It was a block of marble and the David was always in there. Your house is the same way.

This kitchen was a bit of a mind bender for me but the weird thing is that it’s not the kitchen that was the problem.

The thing nobody talks about enough in home design and life is that …

You have to see it in your mind first before anything can change.

Once I drew out my designs, collected inspo images and stared at this space long enough, I was able to visualize what I wanted.

The next part kind of just happened.

It’s like a moving train.

Once you set your ideas and intention on the train-it just goes.

You just have to decide you want it.

Everything falls into place. Don’t worry about the how.

I can’t believe I considered keeping that little step wall at the bar!

So happy with how it turned out.

Comment FOOD for my free “What I Eat in a Day to l Comment FOOD for my free “What I Eat in a Day to lose 25 pounds at 45” cheetsheet.

After 6 pregnancies, 4 kids and closing my breastfeeding chapter, I was 45.

I was feeling so grateful but also started feeling really uncomfortable in my body.

I tried doing the things that would get me back in shape before kids but those things didn’t work the same any more.

Did I have to give up “living” aka enjoying delicious food, cocktails…even donuts?

I didn’t want to be a “salad mom” who didn’t enjoy the cake at birthdays or holiday desserts.

I also wanted to feel great in a pair of jeans. Not trying to be who I was before kids, but be the best version of me.

Confident, youthful, vibrant, energetic and excited about the day, not awkward getting dressed.

Our youngest was under 2 and still waking at night. How was I going to do this?

I was trying so hard and nothing was working. I would give up and try something different.

There had to be a way that would work for me, at my age and with my schedule. Something that was simple.

That’s when I learned how to eat in a way that was satisfying.

I became excited about my meals. They hit my goals with protein and nutrition.

Comment FOOD and I’ll send you a free download of my typical day of eating, in photos,  to show you that you can do it too AND feel satisfied.

You’ll also get my free 7 day weight loss email course.

P.S. I still enjoy girls night, donuts and and birthday cake.

Follow @christinajwarren for more transformation after 45 that feels natural and uplifting using small shifts.
We are put on this earth with the purpose to have We are put on this earth with the purpose to have a good life.

When I live in that frame, I choose to do things that light me up and enjoy life.

Good things come- family, work, love.

Then there are times when I got nervous and choose “the right thing.”

But ya know what, everything works out no matter what.

Sometimes leaning into the fears was what I needed so that I could go for what I really wanted.

At 46 I’m still learning to stay in trust, connection, gratitude and detach from my fears.
