Kauai Moalepe Trail

December 15, 2014 · In: Travel, Uncategorized

I have to say this is one of the hardest things I have ever done and it is very emotional for me. I keep focusing on the benefits for him getting a good night’s rest and having his own space. I truly miss him and I even cry at night! HA! I wish so badly for him to be back in our room and I know that this is the only way he was going to be able to sleep through the night well.

On another note…this trail was so awesome!!!! I was snapping photos like crazy on this trip. Hope your week is off to a great start!

I can only imagine how tough transitioning your little one to his own room must be. The trail looks beautiful. I really need to start spending more time outside.

You are so right. It totally is better for us in the long run. Now we have our bed and room back! It is kind of surreal. OK…time for another baby. HA!

Aww, you are so sweet! I love taking naps with my babe but I also love that he doesn’t sleep with me at night. I even like when B doesn’t sleep with me. I’m selfish and like to hog the whole bed! HA!!

Ha! That’s awesome! I am a bit codependent now! I was independent for so long and now I have like this pod life with my family. It was a good change in everyone’s best interest though. I am still getting used to it! Thank you!!

What a beautiful trail but I imagine that in Kauai there’s not much scenery that isn’t amazing. It’s only natural that you miss having Grant with you at night but just think of how much more fun you can have with him during the days now that you’ll both be better rested 🙂

Dare I say it but I felt old too.

Then I just decided that, even though I was in this stage of life, I was still going to achieve my goals and have a body that I wanted.

I changed who I was on the inside.

I started telling myself that I was vibrant and beautiful and full of energy and life.
