I received my invite to the baby shower this week! WOW! This is so exciting for me! We had been trying for a year to have some sort of wedding/party since we got married at the courthouse, in a small Korean traditional ceremony and then took photos in Paris. Are you tired of me linking to those yet? It can be so hard to get people together from all over. So our final-go was going to be a co-ed baby shower/”hey, we’re married” party.
Well, again it just didn’t work out sooooo one of my best friends, Kelly, insisted on throwing a ladies shower for me in San Diego, where many of my friends live. Yeehaw! L.A. friends are driving down and my sister will be coming in from Seattle!
Kelly surprised me with these gorgeous invites from Wedding Paper Divas. The card stock is pearly and elegant.
I “flowered” over the details. 😉
I bought these fake flowers at Michaels today for some experimental flower crowns I’d like to have for photos at the tea party themed shower. P.S. they’re on super sale this week so check them out if you want to try this look.
I have been to so many wonderful showers and thrown many as well. I am so excited about this! I have a hard time letting others do things for me but I am so fortunate and willing to let people do these things for me now. Must be the hormones? Well, it’s a good lesson in receiving. I’m so grateful!

Thank you, Recekah! I was so surprised by what she chose and I LOVE them. I am very sentimental and love to have things like this on my bulletin board or eventually scrap/photo-booked. The flowers are surprisingly beautiful for being fake!
