Museum & Shots

February 10, 2014 · In: LIFESTYLE, Out and About, Uncategorized

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has super cool art installations all over the grounds. You can enjoy them without even purchasing admission (although we did to see some of the art inside the buildings).  Outside, there’s this hanging noodle thing you can you weave through. You run into little kids while trying not to think of all the germs lingering on those little tubes, trying to get into your mouth.

This painting is a rendition of the LA riots.  My only direction to Chris was: Just sit there and don’t move for just a few moments, ok?

Great photos – you’re really getting to know your camera.
I haven’t been to LACMA in years – I should probably take a field trip to see what’s new.

Thank you! I hadn’t been to LACMA in years too. I may like the outside stuff more than the inside! Plus, there are like 10 food trucks outside around lunchtime!

One day, I decided to stop letting my circumstances determine the outcomes that I wanted.

Here he was mother to four, barely sleeping at night, feeling Uncomfortable in my body and sluggish.

Dare I say it but I felt old too.

Then I just decided that, even though I was in this stage of life, I was still going to achieve my goals and have a body that I wanted.

I changed who I was on the inside.

I started telling myself that I was vibrant and beautiful and full of energy and life.

All the sudden I started to believe it.

I ate healthier automatically.

I lost over 20 pounds.
