Are you up as early as I am today? Daylight savings gripes have been all over my Facebook page the past couple of days-especially unpopular with moms of young children! Hopefully it’s a quick transition for you!
We checked out the Abbot Kinney neighborhood of Venice Beach this weekend. It’s been years since either one of us had been there. It is pretty fancy!
The street art is AWESOME. This one is made of distressed plaster on top of the brick.
I’m not gonna lie…we had both slept really poorly the night before and we were grouchy! So, when we saw this sign, we thought it would be a good idea for some “Nice Cream.”
Everything on the strip is charming.
Stracciatella and Cookies & Cream.
So cute that it all looks staged.
Chris got me this necklace at a little mini street fair in front of a store. The artist was there and her work was so dainty and simple. LOVE! Her name is Diane Song and her company is Haniso Studio. She described this necklace as perfect for a t-shirt to a little black dress. Yup!
Another cute building with beautiful greenery and healthy food. The restaurants tout local food, juicing and gourmand fair. The stores are hyper trendy and you can find funky variety gift stores.
I posted this to Instagram and my friend (who literally names cartoon characters as part of her awesome job) named it “Cheetahcorn!”
I’m super excited for my sister who just started her new job!!!!! She is working as an account executive for a start up in Seattle!
