Shabu Shabu is a healthy, inexpensive and fun way to eat out! Sometimes it’s called “hot pot.”
This place our friend Wayne took us to in Orange County last week was set up like a bar. You get your own little soup pot on a heating plate. Add the provided condiments (in those tins) like minced onions, garlic, green onions and hot sauce to the hot water.
Then add your vegetables and noodles.
Now you can cook your meat in the boiling broth. We had two different dipping sauces for the beef briskit we chose. We had brown rice on the side and after we cooked all the meat and ate most of the vegetables, the waitress poured our soup into a bowl so we could enjoy that! We were already so full!
Very healthy and fast. Yay!
