Meat Loafies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground turkey choose one with some fat
  • 1 cup bread crumbs use one of these: traditional, panko, or almond meal (ground almonds)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • olive oil for cooking in pan

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, eggs, soy sauce and ketchup.  
  • Add uncooked ground turkey to the bowl and gently fold it into the mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pan (or 2 pans to cut down your cooking time) over medium/low heat. I use stainless steel pans so I have to use some fat for all cooking. I use a couple tablespoons of oil per pan.
  • With slightly damp hands, roll little balls of the mixture and flatten to create your mini meat loafies. 
  • Cook patties for about 4 minutes on each side and flip when halfway cooked through.
