truthfully, I was upset because wanting more before even enjoying what’s right in front of me is something I struggle with all the time.

I mean, I’m the epitome of finishing a house project and immediately wondering what my house project is going to be.

I turned it into a teaching moment for all of us.

One of the wake ups was to tell me there was an itchy bug bite.🤪

While Chris took the kids for a walk this morning I took some time to write. A little self nurturing time to start the day is so powerful in shifting my mindset from -I want to do nothing to -at least let’s start with some habits!

I put on a comforting movie or listen to a podcast. Move my body, even if it’s for 10 minutes.

That got me energized to read to the kids and play and even clean up a little bit.

it really all started with that morning time to think alone.

I drive in silence, sip my coffee and think. It feels like refueling my personality. I take my time just doing a couple things.
